sequential compression to induce deep tissue massage, enhance lymphatic flow and reduce edema. Motion is distal to proximal.
Most often used in treatment of primary or secondary lymphedema secondary to conditions such as post-phlebitic syndrome or
post-cancer mastectomy. Reduces swelling subsequent to amputation and assists shaping of stumps prior to prosthetic fitting.
Eases daily treatment of chronic venous insufficency edema. Supports healing of wounds, decubitius ulcers and diabetic foot
ulcerations by increasing blood flow and oxygenation at the site. Institutional or home use. Requires use of a BioCompression
